Engineering Notes & Writing
- Why I Build Cozy Digital Spaces — The Pixel Workspace is an experiment in making a portfolio feel less like a collection of static resume sections and more like an environment. The room, weather, CRT, notebook, lighting, sound, and small interactions are all part of the experience.
- Building a Responsive 480×270 Virtual Workspace — The workspace combines layered pixel-art assets with responsive viewport handling, environmental state, interactive hotspots, animation, accessible fallbacks, and ambient audio.
- Engineering Decisions Are Product Decisions — My approach is to treat engineering decisions as part of product design. Architecture, performance, interaction, accessibility, and visual systems all influence whether software feels clear, trustworthy, and dependable.
- Building AI Features That Earn Their Place — Useful AI features begin with a real workflow, trustworthy context, measurable value, and a fallback when the model is uncertain. The goal is not to add a chatbot; it is to make a difficult task meaningfully easier.
